Super Sunday Wings

How can you watch the Super Bowl and not have wings....?

One of our first big family feasts after Steve and I met was a wing throw-down! Football is huge with us and so are all the traditional tailgate foods.  Of course we each felt like we had the PERFECT wing recipe and knew that it was going to need a vote of the people to determine a winner.  It was imperative to get this decided before the 1st Super Bowl that Steve and I shared as a couple. Mainly because I knew I had this wrapped up and was tired of the trash talk! Hah! We wanted it to be fair, so it was a blind judging event......and our kids were all happy to help with that!
Of course I won.......and this is not THAT recipe!
(Can’t give it up just yet......I may need to break it out for another throw down!)

                               Grilled Sunday Wings

*3# Drumettes and Flats
*2 Tbsp Baking Powder
*2 Tbsp OkieSpice Lime Pepper
*2 Tsp cayenne pepper
*2 Tsp granulated garlic
*2 Tsp Kosher Salt
Basting Sauce
*1/2 cup T & A Sauces Smokey Goodness Sauce
*1/4 cup melted butter
*1 Tsp OkieSpice Chargrill Seasoning
Pat wings dry with paper towels. Place in large bowl and sprinkle dry mix over them.  Lay coated wings flat on wire rack placed over baking sheet.  Refrigerate uncovered overnight.  (We usually grill them the next evening)  Grill over low/med heat for 35 minutes or so, turning often. Baste with combined grill sauce last 10 minutes.
